For many modern audiences, the minute they see that a film is black and white, they turn away. Where this stigma against older or black-and-white films comes from is a mystery because many of these films are as good if not far better than many contemporary ones. RELATED:  10 Horror Movies For Comic Book Nerds, Ranked According To IMDb One of the best genre examples of this would be the contrast between black-and-white and color horror films. There is something aesthetically more unnerving when a horror film utilizes black and white. Looking over the history of the genre, here are ten examples of fantastic black-and-white horror films. Watch Movies For Free Here 10 Nosferatu (1922) F. W. Murnau was a legend when it came to silent filmmaking. His impact both on the medium, as well as the German Expressionist movement, can't be understated. Without a doubt, though, Murnau's most iconic and beloved film was his take on Bram Stoker's classic vampire:  Nosferatu . G...

Spies in Disguise: Agents on the Run Mobile Game Review

Spies in Disguise: Agents on the Run on its surface looks like just another endless runner mobile game. When players dig a little deeper they will realize that it really is just another endless runner game, but one that ties in with an animated film. As far as this title goes it mostly plays the same as the runners that mobile gamers are used to, and doesn't really add many new mechanics. Agents on the Run won't impress anyone that has been playing mobile games for some time, but it may hold their attention during a morning bus or subway commute.

Spies in Disguise: Agents on the Run is a tie-in for the animated comedy movie of the same name by Blue Sky Studios staring Will Smith, Tom Holland, and Rashida Jones that released on Christmas day. In the very beginning of the game players are only able to play as Tom Holland's character Walter, but as the game progresses more characters can be unlocked using in-game currency. The audio and visuals are very well done. The graphics are cartoony - not as well animated as the movie - but for a mobile game it looks very visually pleasing and it runs smoothly.

The gameplay of Spies in Disguise: Agents on the Run is adequate if mostly uninteresting. The controls are surprisingly responsive and as a run progresses it becomes more and more challenging to dodge enemies and obstacles. After a few hours of playing I never encountered an instance where the game did not register my directional swipes. As far as stand out features each character has special abilities that can be used to help players. Walter is given a "Coin Sucker 3000" that that sucks up all the coins in range for 4 seconds. Marcy on the other hand has an umbrella that defends the player from any damage for 8 seconds. Additionally the player is able to unlock both a car or a jet-pack for certain characters that changes the pace of the game considerably. The car segments are one of the most enjoyable aspects, because the game speeds up dramatically as the player has to dodge in and out of traffic.

When it comes down to it though the game doesn't really have much to offer. The landscape that the player traverses seems to repeat on a loop that gets very tiresome after a few runs. After a short amount of time with the game I felt as though I was beginning to pick up the pattern that the loop was running. On top of that there really isn't much that this game does that hasn't been accomplished with more polished titles like Jetpack Joyride, Temple Run, or even Subway Surfers. When it comes down to it seems as though the developers created this game to be a quick and easy way to make some extra money. The game is constantly asking players to use gems to either continue their runs or buy supplies to level up characters. These gems can be bought with real world currency and can really rack up a considerable tab over time, which is slightly problematic considering that the game is marketed towards young children.

When it comes down to it, Spies in Disguise: Agents on the Run is not a bad game. In all honestly it can actually be a decent amount of fun if players need to waste some time. It does have a fair share of problems though. This isn't a game that will be played for months on end. Most people will download the game, make a few runs, forget it is on their phone, and ultimately delete it when they run out of memory. If anyone is a fan of the movie though or wants to play a Temple Run remake then this one might be worth a download.
